Claire, or as she went by on 43things, KissingMidnight, was one of the first people to achieve her goal to become a mermaid using the shifting method. Though many people have claimed to have become mermaid, Claire was the only one to actually post a picture of her tail. It is believed that she ran away to the ocean to become a mermaid forever :) Since the site 43things may be shutting down, I will be posting KissingMidnight's entries on 43things here. They are in chronological order(ie youngest to oldest), it took her a total of 13 months (wow!) to get her full tail:

Hey y'all!
Heeeeey! So yeah… I’m back. I deleted a whole bunch of my entries and I took a break because of some emotional stuff. But now I’m back, and ready to do this. This has been my goal since… well….. for most of my life. My grandma passed away recently, which is sort of why I came back (not that many of you remember me anyway). Anyway, my Grandma is relevant to this post because when I was younger she always used to tell me stories about mermaids. I loved them and had always wanted to become one. I remember that I was at school one day (first grade or something) and a girl told me it was impossible and I had been sent home crying. My Grandma was the only one home, and she told me that the girl at school was wrong as wrong could be, that I could be anything I wanted. I believed her, and I still do to this day.
Long sappy story short, I’m here to realize my dream. But I’m going to be wise about this, I’m not starting out with petty little ”’make me a mermaid please’ while I get in a cramped tub and spin around three times.” No. I’m going to do this thing I found out from a couple of people a year ago, but was just reintroduced a few months ago…. shifting. But I’ve added my own magickal and spiritual spins to it :) I’ve been on the shifting course for… uhh… I’d say a year now? I have a full mental shift, and I’ve phantom shifted numerous times. I can hold my breath for 3 and a half minutes (no joke) and I’m just on the edge of a p shift I think. I can feel it in me…. I just need to let it come out.
So yeah, my name is Claire, aka Kissing Midnight, and this may be the conclusion of my journey… wish me luck!

My next shift
Alrighty guys, so I just thought I’d post this to let everyone know that I’m going to try an attempt an on camera shift. I don’t think I’ll make it all the way tonight, but I really want get some proof that the shifting method works on the body as well as the mind :)
SO. Yeah I’m going on tinychat with a few people from here, if anyone wants to join just email me at [email protected] !
If this works, I’ll post pics….wish us luck!

Oh my gosh Oh my-
Guys. Holy….. LOOK LOOK LOOK!
So I know I just posted but I DID do the shifting, along with BejeweledMoon, Supersonic, GoldenDreamer, and a bunch of other people. We sat down and meditated together… and we really focused on shifting. We did it today due to it being a Monday (spiritual properties of the ocean and the moon) and anyway, I felt this… weird sensation. I was in my Mental Flare and… well, the picture shows. I know you can’t really see it, but look at my screen (the one on the right… with the mask). Do you see those bumps on my arm? Those are scales. Legit scales. I’m not joking right now….ahh sorry I don’t even know how to communicate right now, I’m shaking so hard and I’m smiling uncontrollably.
For all of you… those of you who have lost faith, who aren’t sure anymore, there is a way. This is proof. It may be hard, and long. But there is a way.

Another shifting thing
Alrighty so Mermaid Destiny posted some great shifting information, and I thought I’d share one of my sources too! A lot of it was copy-and pasted from a site that has now been deleted, and I added some of my own stuff too.
https://sites.google.com/site/mermaidshifting/home
It doesn’t have the p-shifting part of it yet, but all of the stuff on there is INSANELY important. As for the shifting, I can give some info on how I do it :)
But yup, this is how I got the scales I showed in the picture, so… Have fun with it!

I generally try and shift in my room, and I’ve been taking pictures to put in my mermaid journal. Anyway I’m getting to be really excited about this… when shifting though I keep coming to this barrier. Its really weird like… it feels like something I just have to get over. I can get right up next to it and get scales, but if I want the tail I have to get over it. Urgh, this is going to be hard.
ALSO. The next full moon is Monday September 12th. This is a really important moon I feel because its on a Monday, which is magickally the day of ocean, moon and change… which as we know is perfect for shifting and mermaid magick! Its also in Pisces, which is a water sign, and its the harvest moon. So just a heads up on that, I hope everyones doing well and happy shifting!!!

M Shifting (this may be one of the most important posts ever posted on here, SO LISTEN!)
Alrighty then, this is THE thread, post, whatever for M shifting. Basically I’m just going to put up everything I know on the subject, and see if I can make it easier for those of you who do not understand :) If you have a question, please feel free to ask in the comments, and I’ll respond ASAP. If I get enough of the same question, I’ll just add it onto the actual post. So here we go!
Ok. First off. What IS M shifting?
M shifting is essentially when you shift your mind, personality, and thinking processes to mimic and mermaid’s. Thats not to say that you completely give up who you are, you just change a lot of how you are in regular day life to be like a mermaid. This is different from a mental flare, which is when the “mermaid half” of your brain completely takes over.
Is M shifting important?
Yes. Yes, yes yes yes yes yes yes YES. M shifting is just as important as p shifting, if not even more!! How could you possibly expect to just… dive into the ocean with a tail, and be amazing at swimming and be able to fully appreciate everything? You wouldn’t be able to, because human minds don’t work like mermaid ones. Your mermaid mind knows how to swim with a tail, you might kind of know, but that “might” could get you drowned. The mermaid mind also helps your human one from having a spazz attack over the change. Finally, the mermaid mind helps you unlock your shifting potential. Believe me, its just really, really important.
How do I get started?
Welllll this ones tricky. Like the site I normally go onto says, either real mermaids don’t exist, or we’ve never really seen them. Because of this, we have NO idea how they live or function or anything. And if we don’t know that, how can we expect to know how they act or what exactly their mind set is? So in order to remedy this lack of information, we have to use science, plus our intuition, plus imagination. Basically, we have to create a mermaid in our minds using some information from fish and dolphins that we already know, and then also what our local environment is like. Now, I know a lot of people have trouble with this part, so I’m including what I did personally. Some information on how to “create” your mermaid can be found here. https://sites.google.com/site/mermaidshifting/shifting/research
The M shift.
Okay, so essentially, this is what I did. I live in South Carolina, but my parents are divorced and I visit my dad in Florida a LOT. I’m not saying where he lives exactly, but he basically does a lot of boating, and its VERY tropical down there. Because of this, I made my mermaid very tropical, which is what allows me to have the red color that my tail is (well, will be.) As a Tropical Mermaid, I would have ample food from tropical fruit, shellfish, regular fish, and just about everything else. Because of all of this, I could pretty much base most of my mermaid’s personality and mentalality on the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin….. and this is what makes life so much easier for me. Basically, I wrote up a list of a bunch of information on how mermaids “work,” or how MY mermaid would personally have to be to survive. I then compared everything to how dolphins work and survive. It was pretty close, aside from a few things like diet. Anyway, anything that wasn’t the same as the dolphin, I’d make a note of… but everything else that we had in common, I would put into my M shift.
So for example, dolphins are very loyal to those in their pod group. I put down that my mermaid would probably live in a pod… So generally, I am fiercely loyal when it comes to my fellow shifters. Another example would be how playful dolphins can be. While that may not be the most scientific observation, its one that felt right to me and my mermaid self, so I added in playfulness to the traits on my M shift list. There are a bagillion other ways to make yourself more mermaid like, these are just a few. One thing that really helped me was to make a game out of it. I tried to act like how a secret mermaid would in front of my friends to try and see if any of them thought maybe I was one. Not only was this fun for me, but it also helped with my M shift because it made me think about things a mermaid would do on land.
Now, don’t think I did this all alone. These two pages from the shifting site gave me so much to work off of. The first page is just basically what M shifting is… stuff I just talked about, but still good to read over.
https://sites.google.com/site/mermaidshifting/shifting/m-shifting
The second is a super duper helpful page that gives many ideas to work on for the M shift :) (haha as you can see, I’ve copied a lot of my shifting stuff from the site… its just so helpful!)
https://sites.google.com/site/mermaidshifting/tips-and-ideas/m-shifting-ideas
WOW that was a lot of typing. WELL. I think this is pretty much it. I mean, I didn’t really give my exact details… but if I did that, then you guys would all wind up becoming mermaids suited for Florida rather than for your own personal needs! Its really important that you work on this. I know a lot of you are used to saying spells and sitting there hoping… but shifting isACTIVE. You have to devote yourself to it, just like you would to learning and becoming anything.
I really hope this helped… good luck and happy swimming!

Another Quick update
Soooooo I’m for sure going to try shifting on the next full moon! It should work I think, I have the support of my shifting friends and the moon! I won’t be doing it on webcam, because a kid I was babysitting thought it might be a good idea to use it as target practice with one of those foam foot balls. Needless to say, it fell on the ground and REALLY don’t work anymore! But anyway, if I DO shift, then everything is going to go amazingly, seeing as I get to go visit my dad for autumn break!!! He lives about 7 minutes walking distance to the ocean, so guess whos going to be able to swim in the ocean with her new tail?
Anyway, I hope all is going well with you guys :) Good luck with shifting!

My tail
Okay. sooooo now that my head is on a little straighter, I can finally tell you guys what happened!!!
I was on the phone with Cal (supersonic_waterflow) and he was just talking to me a little bit and helping me. Anyway I focused on the sun going down, and I imagined the day time as me, the light part of me that’s mundane, and logical. And then I imagined the night as the ocean and mermaids, magick and things not seen or understood. As the sun was setting, I finally shifted into my true mermaid form. It felt weird at first, but at the same time it felt like stretching a sore muscle. So it was a little painful, but the good kind of pain. It just felt so RIGHT. I’m really happy to answer any questions anyone has :)
Ok also… about a picture of the tail. I really, really want to show you guys, but I’m scared. I don’t want people to… I dont know really. I don’t want to be attacked, and im scared people will think I’m a fake. Or maybe someone will take the picture from me and say its them. Or maybe the wrong person will see it. I don’t know… a month ago I would have said that the first thing I’d do is post a picture, but now I’m not so sure. What do you guys think I should do? I won’t expect anyone to believe me until I show proof, I just want to know what you guys think is the best idea? Maybe I could email the pic? Idk….

I'm back finally
Sorry for leaving you guys hanging on the tail pics, yesterday was incredibly rough. I kinda had a break down at school, my mermaid mind came out and all I wanted was the ocean and my tears reminded me of the ocean so I cried harder and…. it was just ugh. I’m back to my normal self now, but its just another thing that comes with the whole mermaid thing, sometimes its hard to stay in control. Not to say I was about to pop a tail right there, but you know.
Anyway, I’ve decided what I’m going to do about the tail pic. Basically, I’m just going to pick some people from on here and send them the tail picture. There’s no certain amount of people I’ll send it to, just as long as you seem mature and trustworthy I’ll probably send you the picture. SO if you want me to email you the picture, just put your email in the comments, or email me at [email protected] (haha, I DO love my username! )
Good luck you guys :)

I'm back I think...
Hey guys, so some stuff has been going down with my tail. Its been a lot harder than I thought it would be. I’ve been thinking about running away to the ocean, and I almost did twice. The first time, I was riding down to the beach and then broke out in tears and headed for home. The second time, I made it pretty far… I don’t really know how far, but I was gone for a day or so, and my mom finally found me. I don’t know whats going to happen now, but it sounds like they’re just going to let it slip, because I told them I wasn’t actually running away, I just needed some space. I haven’t been able to shift for three days now, because my mom has been watching me too closely.
I came on here hoping maybe you guys haven’t forgotten about me….. but it looks like you’ve forgotten me AND shifting and have just gone back to those stupid spells that don’t work…..
Im sorry…

Updates
Things haven’t been going so well for me. I was glad to see some people commenting on the entry I posted, who remembered me, but my internet was being stupid and wouldn’t let me reply. We tried to get that fixed, so hopefully this gets through.
Anyway…. I just wanted to see who else was still shifting? So far, I’m absolutely positive that it is THE way to get a tail. That, or I’m insane. Not really sure which one, but oh well. Having a tail is so different than what I thought it would be. At first, I thought would be cool and amazing and I’d get to explore the sea. And in a sense, that’s exactly what it is. But at the same time, its changed my life and its changed me. You might think to yourself “Oh, yeah, I can just have a tail and when I’m done being a mermaid I just wont shift back.” But its not that easy. Its not like a side hobby, its more like half of your life. At school, its at the back of my brain, screaming at me to get near the water, to swim away, to hide from these strange humans with feet instead of fins. I’ve lapsed into an accidental mental shift more times than I can count, where everything is a different shade and things are just so different and irrational.
Its hard to resist the call of the sea. And even when you do, even at your most human, you still feel alone in this world.
So for those of you still trying to shift, and, actually, anyone on this goal, let me warn you. It is a beautiful and horrible experience. It is terrifying and thrilling and disturbing and amazing. But the one thing about it, is that no matter what you’re feeling or what changes you are going through, you are doing it alone.
Completely alone.

Hey you guys, remember me?
So, most of you probably don’t remember me… but if you need to know, I’m basically the chick that completed shifting and introduced it to this site. Currently I’m in Florida, although I won’t say where.
I would LOVE to have a Q and A session sometime soon…. I could make a post, or actually be on here live and have a bunch of people get on at the same time! It’s been a while, and a lot has happened.
I have to go soon, but I just wanted to say good-job to Aisha for being so dedicated and helping to keep shifting alive :)
If you want to know anything more about me, just look through my profile. My tail picture is in my pictures. Happy swimming :)

Q and A session #1
Well, I’m going to try and answer as many questions as possible here. If you have any more questions leave them in the comments! If I can answer them without too much effort I’ll comment back. If not, I’ll save them for my next Q and A session :) Here we go!
How did you become a mermaid?
For those of you who don’t really know me, this has been a really common question. The answer is this thing I like to call the “Shifting Method.” Basically, it takes a more mind over matter approach, rather than having a bunch of uncertain mermaid lovers pray to sea nymphs that they don’t even know if they believe in. The method involves doing research, meditation, and some spiritual fulfillment… to me at least :). I won’t describe the whole thing, but almost all of it is on this site here https://sites.google.com/site/mermaidshifting/home
So basically my journey began two years ago. I had been on the werewolf goal under a different name… and I really liked their methods. It seemed so much more realistic than just doing a bunch of “spells.” So, I modified the method a bit and tried it out.
Throughout the next year, I worked tirelessly on my m shift, phantom shifts, and f shifts. It was hard, but after a while it felt like I really was a mermaid. I didn’t have a tail, but I identified myself as one with the sea. I joined this site, and soon after began to make physical process. This was through a method called p shifting, which is not on the site I posted above yet. Finally, I got my tail (a year from tomorrow, in fact).
That was only the beginning of the journey.
What is it like?
Well… it’s different. I’ve described it like being famous. There are really good parts to it, and really bad parts to it… it’s just a different kind of life. The main thing is that there really is no going back. You can’t just not shift… you need to. You are a mermaid AND a human. You need to spend a lot of time as both, or else you just feel horrible and divided.
Another aspect of it is that you never stop changing. What? Did you think you could just get your tail and that would be it? No. Even after the first shift, you continue to become more and more like your other half. For me, it started with spontaneous mental flares in school. I ran away a couple times, and it got to the point where I pretended to be mentally ill so that my mom would take me out of school. By that point, I decided that it was best to go back… to get rid of my mermaid side. Well, that proved harder to do than becoming one in the first place. Eventually I gave up, and now I guess I’m just try to slow down the process. I’m not entirely sure where it ends. I think I’ve slowed it down and it might come to a happy medium between mermaid and human sometime here soon :)
Does it hurt?
I’ve described it to quite a few people as stretching a sore limb. It hurts, but it feels good at the same time too. I’m not entirely sure how long it takes because usually I’m in an altered state when I shift.
How should I contact you?
You can contact me through my email [email protected], and I can chat on there as well. Or, you can comment/message me on here :) I don’t answer messages as often though, I’m on my email a lot. I’m thinking about creating a separate facebook page for this, or perhaps a blog. What do you guys think?
Do I get a top when I shift?
Well.. you might be able to. I don’t have one, to be honest. I usually just swim with a swimming top!
Is it like in H2o where-
No. It is not like H2o. At all. Basically, everything in H2o is the exact opposite of how it really is, save for the being a mermaid part. Disappointing? Yes. However, if you want to become a mermaid because of any of the things mentioned there, then you don’t want to be one for the right reason anyway.
Finally, the one you’ve all been waiting for…
How do I P shift?
Okay… well. Let me answer your question with a question of my own. How do I know all of you are ready for this? Further, how do I know I’m not going to just be ruining all of your lives by making this information public? For those of you who have gotten the m shift down perfectly, and who have really been working hard at this… then good job. I’m just wondering about those who don’t put too much effort into this, who will either tell everyone that the method doesn’t work due to their own lack of effort… or worse (and highly more likely) succeed, but have it ruin their lives because they weren’t ready.
That being said, I’m not going to release my methods yet. What I am going to do is give you all a quiz that I made, just so that I can see how the goal is doing and how many people are really trying hard at this.
You can find the quiz here http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=are-you-ready-to-begin-pshifting
I’d love it if you could enter your user name when it asks for your name, just so I know who you are. Don’t worry if you don’t pass, because the test doesn’t take into account the writing questions.
Well… that’s it for now! Comments are appreciated, please take the quiz :)

Claire was last seen on 43things on Sep 21, 2012, 04:14PM PDT . Here are some mermaid related comments she posted in reply to people, if you want to read them, here (they are in chronological order(ie youngest to oldest)):
-You already know this, but I’m hoping for a bright tail, preferably orange or red :) Something small and agile, not huge like h2o or anything! 2 years ago
-I think we can :) I’m on the edge of a breakthrough, I just know it. Also, are you going to be doing vid chat meditation meeting with the rest of the group? I couldn’t get a hold of you haha 2 years ago
-Aw thank you! And as for the questions!1. Ummm a little over a year I think?
2. I think I’m really close. I’m not sure though, it could take anywhere from a week to three more months :(
3. Mermaids think…. huh. Well, I’m guessing you’re asking this as a part of your Mshift, so basically what I did was do a lot of dolphin research, and I went off of that. Also, I did a lot of meditation on water and mermaids, and I actually got a lot of people saying that I seemed different… more alive in a way. So… I guess? The M shift is the hardest part about shifting I think… because it actually makes you use your brain!
4. Side effects and powers… ummmmmm…... for me its just been acting differently, cravings for tropical fruit, and actually a bunch of stuff like that. Wanting to be near the water. Uh… theres quite a few side effects, Ill see if I can type them up later once i know what they actually are :) And no powers, from what I can tell, although I’ve found myself having a bit of a sixth sense after I finished my M shift. Weird :)
And finally… the P shift is pretty hard, you really have to work on it at least three to four times a week, and meditate any time you can. If you can keep it up though, you should start seeing results!!! 2 years ago
-I use this guide
https://sites.google.com/site/mermaidshifting/home
It doesnt have P shifting on it yet, but you probably won’t be p shifting for at least a month anyway!!!
-Haha awesome :) Idk if I’d be able to get scales on vid I’ve only gotten them like… three times now, they don’t always come :(. But I love to video chat :D! (regardless of the fact that my webcam is HORRIBLE haha!)... As for p shifting….. uhhh I’d love to explain it and stuff but it would probably take FOREVER to describe, and no one would see it in comment form. I’m planning on writing an M shifting entry soon though. But hey, whats the rush? M shifting is just as important as P!
-Ummmm I don’t know much about this, but I would think that if you wanted to be able to transition, your mermaid should just have big lungs or something. I’m not sure about gills AND lungs, but it would be good for you to luck up though :) 2 years ago
-Haha she didn’t use a spell, she used shifting! She an I, and some of our friends, have concluded that simple spells like the ones most people on 43things use, just do not work. So we’ve all been doing shifting and maybe some stronger spells to get there… so far its working! 2 years ago
-Im glad you found the site useful :)!
As for your questions…
1. If you look at a picture I posted, you can see the fluke of the tail, which is super important… basically, I think thats the best kind of tail (at least for me anyway!). I say that because see where the fluke meets the tail, how it kind of come ups onto the tail in a “v” shape? That is an extra area of muscles and blubber, similar to a dolphins. The way the tail is built uses this pocket of blubber and muscle as a spring, like on a pogo stick, that makes you go faster with less amounts of energy used :) Its really hard to explain, just try looking up how dolphin tails work. Also, with the fluke I included a few little…. whats the word…. beams I guess, through the fluke… like what a fish might have on its tail so that it can stretch out fluke, or close it when it needs to. I added that so that when swimming through reefs, I could close my tail so it wouldn’t get caught on coral.
2. As for shifting, oh no you can still go back to your human form whenever you want! With shifting, the first few shiftings in a mermaid are really really hard, but soon you’ll be able to turn into a mermaid and back on a whim :) 2 years ago
-The research was… not the hardest, but got a little annoying after a while. The hard part is, there IS no scientific research on mermaids. There are some people that have made guesses, but the people that have made the scientific approach have made the mermaids…. uh… not very pretty to look at.
Anyway, making your mermaid is like….. well, theres nothing really to compare it to. Essentially, you have to take a mixture of how you personally want to look, science of dolphins (or other fish similar to mermaids), and how the fish in the area you’ll be swimming in look. Then you have to combine all of that into an at least somewhat scientifically accurate tail, that you’d also like to have :) Then you get to draw it, which is the fun part!
Also, there is the research on what your mermaid will act like. I mainly just copied dolphins, put in some other stuff, and connected with the ocean, which kind of gave me a natural mshift.
Hope that helps :)
-oh…. thats a tough one.
Well first off, if you have a pool, then you’re going to need to have your mermaid have lungs. Breathing in chlorine through gills could kill you :\
Another thing I would begin working on is getting your parents to move. I know that sounds like it sucks (or idk, maybe it doesnt) but being near at least some body of water is pretty important. Another thing you could do is work on your shifting for a year or two (it normally takes this long:( ) and then when you do get your tail, you may just have to wait it out until you go to college or move or something. 2 years ago
-Ummmm Im a little confused on your question, but basically… if you say, wanted to be able to shift into a mermaid and a lion or something, then you would have to work up the m shift and p shift for each. So you might spend one to two years on the mermaid, and then another one to two years on the lion. But even at that Idk if its possible. As for the shifting itself, the first few times you shift its really hard to shift (Easier to come back to your human form though). But the more you practice, the faster you get. 2 years ago
-Also, you may want to think over your spell a little. I’m not heavily into magick, but I do know that if it involves a bathtub, a few words you have to say, maybe some shells, then its probably not going to work. I’m not the best with spells, but you should look through some of Pir’s entries to get a better idea. 2 years ago
-Responding to both your things… Yeah the whole mermaid thing is hard. I chose lungs for mine because if you have gills, then you’re limited to either salt or fresh water, you couldn’t breath in both. I might shift gills though once I get my tail, I just think lungs might be the safest bet for me (if I ever move away from the ocean to a lake or something). And yeah, shifting will deffinently take a while. I’d say 1 year if you committed yourself to shifting (meditation, m shifting and p shifting) at least three to four times a week. 2 years for less time than that. Like I said, super hard.
As for hiding your mermaid self, its actually not too hard. You’ll act different, but as long as you’re careful! 2 years ago
- GOT HER TAIL!!!
-Dont forget about the M shift though…. its not just meditation. Actually, the meditation part is F shifting haha… but the m shift is also to get you to think like a mermaid would 24/7. This can be achieved through meditation, but it also has to happen through forcing your mind to change and connection with water and drawing on your inner mer :)
-Its not… photoshopped. Ugh this is what I was scared of :( Yeah, it might look like an h2o tail but thats kind of because I based my design in meditation off of H2o tails….. but… you know, its fine. Whatever, I mean, it seems like people are so blindly persueing this goal anymore, that even if a mermaid showed up right at their door step people wouldn’t believe it. I’ll take the picture down now, I don’t want to cause drama 2 years ago
-Well, you’d think that the moment you get your tail, that’s just it. That is your tail… but it’s different than that. Just like with m-shifts, the more you shift, the more “mermaid,” you get I guess. You continue you to change throughout the shifting process… I’m not entirely sure when it stops though. 21 months ago
-The site has become rather slow… but this is good and bad. It means that the wave of H2o chasers have finally moved on, and others realized they didn’t really need this to be happy. That was one of the biggest things… many people wanted to do this because they set it up that this is the only thing that would make them happy.
If you want to know about shifting, look through my past posts. I posted a site a while back, just read through it :) It’s much better than using spells. 21 months ago
- I’ll post an official thing soon enough, and I think it’s really cool that you’re a guy and trying to do this :) Also, pain is good when it comes to shifting! Keep it up! 21 months ago
- No, he is right. This is the best that I could do at the given time, which was a year ago (you can check that on my profile). I have sense remodeled my room at my dad’s house, however that white book-case and basket are still in there, so I can try taking a picture with those. I won’t show my face, for privacy’s sake. I don’t know when next I’m going to my dad’s (parents are split up), but I can be sure to try and get a better picture for you guys. As for the camera angle, I was in fact holding up the camera, although I could see where it might look fake.
That being said, I’ll try to get this one shot, but I’m not going to go all out trying to convince you guys. I mean… I’d love to help, and proof is helpful, but if you don’t believe me then that is absolutely fine too :) 21 months ago
- Well, let me remind you that this test is strictly based upon my shifting method. If you live on the Pacific, getting a hot pink tail is a REALLY bad idea. For instance, if you get stuck as a mermaid.. well, you basically stick out like a giant zit!
As for number 5, that really is a fact when it comes to shifting. You will most likely shift to suit your environment… your subconscious will make you.
When it comes to 13 and 16… I get what you mean. But basically those questions are there for me. When it comes to my method, it’s really dangerous to start shifting before 4 months, and you MUST complete an m shift before p shifting. You wouldn’t be marked down because you yourself are WRONG, just that the answer wouldn’t qualify you to start p shifting (using my method and safely) yet. I guess I could have worded that better haha. Sorry for all of the confusion on this! 21 months ago
-I answered this on the previous comment, but this has to do strictly with what I deem safe for using my method. When it comes to shifting, you NEED your tail to reflect your environment. This is for safety reasons, but also for you to get the best possible shift. Sure, a rainbow tail would be pretty to look at, but the point is to be a mermaid… it shouldn’t matter what exactly your tail looks like. As for question 8, you NEED a constant M-shift. Not a mental flare, but a mental shift. If you’re doing the m shift right, you won’t be able to turn it off easily anyway. If you don’t have a constant one, it will be much harder to shift. If you do shift, it will automatically give you a constant m shift, and then you’ll have a hard time controlling yourself. It’s inconvenient, sure. However, it’s the only safe way. 21 months ago
- I won’t type out something super long to answer you, just look at my other comments :) As for the powers thing… you may get powers through spells or other method, but shifting won’t give you powers. Although, it could be possible to get powers… that would be pretty cool! 21 months ago
- Well, when it comes to m shifting… that one takes a while. It took me 3 months or so to get it perfectly down, but you’ll start noticing changes. I started with my diet, and making it more… fishy I guess. I tried to get in the water once every day or once every two days. It helped to try to stop thinking with words and more with concepts I guess? Hmmm… Every morning I would imagine myself swimming with dolphins. In fact, I’d model my behavior after dolphins most days, which helped to get my mermaid m shift :)
As for going into a mental flare, you only want to stay in a mental flare for half an hour to two hours. Normally I need to submerse myself in water to get this one down, but I basically try to feel myself as the water. I let go of human thoughts… human logic… that kind of stuff. It’s like meditating. You clear your mind completely, then very slowly begin to focus on the feel of the water around you, on your desire to swim forever. Sometimes I focus on my desire to explore, as when I’m older I’d like to take to the sea for a year and visit different places just by swimming to them :)
It’s different for everyone, the main goal is to just feel like a mermaid! 21 months ago
- Yeah, I had to angle my hand weird… It took a bunch of tries before I actually got the picture haha :) 21 months ago
-I think we can :) I’m on the edge of a breakthrough, I just know it. Also, are you going to be doing vid chat meditation meeting with the rest of the group? I couldn’t get a hold of you haha 2 years ago

-Hi guys [: so you know one of my best friends, KissingMidnight right? Well several months ago ( maybe even a year?:o ) when she was still in her beginning stages of shifting, I decided I would try that too [: So, so far I have Ph shifted a lot, M shifted, and F shifted. I’m so close I can feel it, it’s a huge adrenaline rush, and whenever I touch water, it’s like I begin to melt into it! It’s going to take a lot more work though, so I’m gonna need all the support I can get! I can hold my breath underwater for… Idk around 2 minutes now, which is pretty good for a human ! I mean.. when I didn’t start shifting, I could barely hold my breath for 10 seconds ( Right? ). My parents and I live in Southern Florida and right now we’re in the middle of a HUGE thunderstorm, so I can’t exactly get into that ocean quite yet, but soon! Anyways, I’ll update you guys whenever I can and whenever I have important news, thank you all for reading this, and if you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected], ( yeah, i like that username;] ). I love to help people and I’m a good listener!
Thanks!(:
Good luck to you all!

-Oh my goodness gracious! I can’t believe it! Some scales actually showed up [: Oh my gosh… I can’t even type or process thoughts I’m so excited. I’ve been shifting for almost a year now, and I’m finally seeing things happen, and it’s amazing! I just tried to P-shift, and my mind was hooked. I felt like I was a mermaid, knew I was a mermaid, and went into that… well, sort of trance you know? So if you guys are thinking about giving up, don’t, because there is still hope for becoming a mermaid out there. I wish I could type more and explain more, but I’m so gosh darn excited my entire brain has flip-flopped [: Thank you guys for reading this!!
- Shifting is a slow process, but it’s definitely worth it. To ph shift, I closed my eyes and imagined a tail, in front of my face, except I couldn’t see it. You have to feel everything that it is about the tail. I would suggest looking up some mermaid anatomy (if you can :]) to get a more detailed outlook on everything. When I get scales, it was just pretty much slow P-shifting. Also, there really aren’t many side effects, you only get them when you shift. Hope this helps! [: 2 years ago
